Hrefna is a Belgian style strong ale, brewed with Icelandic crowberries. The beer was developed in close collaboration with the head chefs of renowned Reykjavik restaurants The Grill Market and The Fish Market, for pairing with different fish and meat dishes.
Hrefna is an Icelandic given name meaning female crow. This edition was aged in Moscatel Roxo casks for 10 months, giving it a sweet sense of depth and complexity with more acidity and a hint of oak.
